If I have a plastic cup, and only half of the space is utilized, it doesn't matter how you describe the empty space -optimist, pessimist, none of you matter- you are using twice as much material as you need to in order to construct this vessel. Well, not exactly half, but the equations to calculate the actual surface area would probably just confuse you.
Anyway, we need to cut this piece of shit in half, so that way we can allocate our resources into more worthwhile endeavors, like giving me a fat bonus for solving your packaging dilemma.
